Here it is folks, and it’s just lovely. Don’t wait until fall to order this stunning new ensemble. I get insanely busy starting in September and often times get booked up through Halloween. All the savvy wenches know to order their garb now and beat the crowd!

I forgot how much work these higher end gowns are but I’m pleased with the result. I really like the striking contrast between the blue and the white and I just love the neckline. It’s the perfect frame for scintillating decolletage.

The fabrics in this bodice are absolutely breathtaking! Some of the prettiest fabrics I’ve ever worked with. I’m so very pleased with how this turned out!

I’ve been fairly focused on my bodice and skirt ensembles lately. I recently had major back surgery and just couldn’t muster the energy required to work on the higher end gowns until now. I’m finally ready! I have one more bodice & skirt ensemble to finish up (I will be blogging about it tomorrow) but have some fantastic ideas for some more elaborate designs. Seeing as how it’s a million degrees in Texas right now, it seems like the perfect time to stay inside in my air conditioned sewing room.

My very first blog post….so exciting!!!
I’ve recently completely revamped my website. I hope you all like it. It’s actually a Word Press blog disguised as a website. This allows me to make changes and additions fairly easily which gives me more time to focus on creating fabulous new Renaissance ensembles. I also sell on Etsy and eBay but my ultimate goal is to close my store on eBay by Christmas. My category (Renaissance and Medieval clothing) as been completely taken over by a seller flooding the market with Chinese imports. They actually copied one of my court gown designs in detail, except they used cheap trim and fabric, so I know they have no business ethics. Unfortunately, they’re running off most of the reputable, quality garb sellers because we can’t compete on sheer price. Very sad, but when one door closes another one opens. Hence my freshly revamped, sparkly website.
This blog is open to any topic regarding Renaissance or Medieval garb, faires, related history, etc. Please feel free to jump in any time.
